Artifact: Presentation
Date: April 2012

Reflection: The presentation being shown here is a presentation of my teacher work sample project for PED 434: Stats and Assessment. This project shows that I can develop a lesson, use different assessment techniques, and bring the stats together to show progress. The presentation shows that I have the knowledge of using a computer but more importantly, shows that I can organize my data into various graphs and charts. The presentation also shows that I can cover the three domains (psychomotor, cognitive, and affective) while also meeting the NYS and NASPE goals and standards.

Artifact: 355 Teaching Experience Reflection

Date: Fall 2012

Reflection: In EDU 355, The Physical Education Curriculum: Planning and Practice, I was required to observe in an elementary school setting for 30 hours. I was required to teach a lesson and then reflect on how the lesson went. As to any lesson, there are going to be positives and negatives, and it is important to analyze the lesson to grow from it. When teaching, it is important to be a reflective teacher so that you can gain valuable knowledge to become a better educator.
